HUM 8
Today everybody had their chairs set to one direction, where pleople presented their Genious Hour Projects. We started off the block getting straight into presenting the projects. One and a half month of hard work was being displayed right before my eyes. The projects absolutely stunned me, their topics, their information, the way they were presented...eyerthing was astonishing. Some were long and some were short and watching them took almost one hour which flew at the speed at light. We rounded off the day with some feed back. Mostly all of them were good in lots of areas but lacked some things in others. For example, the way the Genious Hour Projects were formated were excellently done and how they put in videos was very well done, but when it came to presentation skills there were some short comings like lack of eye contact, talking fast, poor body launguage ect. Over all, the projects were beautifully done but could've been done better in some areas. Everybody should learn and fix these mistakes for the next project. :)

HUM 8
Today, I was late for class so I just snuck into class without anyone noticing it. To my luck, the teacher hadn't done attendance yet. Due to the teachers soar throat my voluntering for calling out attendance lifted a smile on her face. We kicked off the day with some fun brain benders. There were three rounds each level getting harder. Winning a round meant a chocolate as a prize so everyone gave each question there best shot. I enjoyed three chocolates leaving others drooling. A movie about called "First Knight" was next on our agenda. The flavour of the movie faded after the teacher recommended we write some notes of the movie. The movie, in my perspective, was mainly about a brave knight and fighting. The evil king enjoyed wealth while leaving peasants in the scorching sun to work. Everybody sat in pin drop silence gravitated by the movie, until the obstreperous fire alarm rang. The peace and quiet soon turned into screaming and running. By the time we were commanded to go back to class, the period was over, Over all, there were a lots of surprizes today.

Today in Class
On Friday in
class we watched a medieval movie called The First Knight. In the movie after
King Arthur rids his kingdom of an enemy one of his trusted knights also wants
to rule. The knight rebels against the king and attacks the villages with
knights who are loyal to him. The ruling lady of a city in the kingdom wants
her city to be safe so she decides to marry the king. On the trip to the palace
she is attacked by the rebel knight and is saved by a man called, Lancelot, who
is an expert at sword fighting. Lancelot isn’t a rich man and he fights and
trains people for money. After saving her they parted ways and she found her
escort and continued to the palace. During the wedding party they see each
other again and Lancelot competes in a huge obstacle course where the prize for
winning is kissing the Lady. Lancelot finishes first and does it without
wearing any armour like the others. He is brought up to the lady to get his
prize but having already kissed her after he saved her before he merely kisses
her hand. After the party the lady and the king go to a meeting of the round
table of knights. At the meeting the rebel knight leader shows up threatening
the lady and the king. The king would not agree to the knight demands so the
knight says thee king will be sorry and he leaves. Later that night the rebels
attack the castle and capture the lady.
That’s all we watched it seems like a good movie and I want to see more it is interesting and there is lots of fights and dying. We will be watching the rest on Monday along with answering questions on the movie.

Why we did
this:
I think we did
this to learn more about the Middle Ages for social studies. Like the way they
lived, what they ate, how the survived.
